Good afternoon everyone! This year APA will be in Washington, DC again, and is seeking submissions from Division 14 (SIOP) members. It's late notice, but most submission types are very short (250-500 words for posters, for example). Submissions are due Monday Dec. 2nd, by 5 PM Eastern Time.
If you didn't get something finished in time for SIOP, this is a great venue. Here is some additional info from the program chair:
Division 14 Call for Proposals
We encourage Division 14 members to consider presenting at the 2020 American Psychological Association Convention. The Convention will be held August 6 -August 9, 2020 in Washington, D.C.
More than 10,000 psychologists from around the globe attend APA annually. The annual APA convention is an excellent opportunity for Industrial/Organizational psychologists to network with psychologists outside of Division 14.
The deadline for submissions is December 2, 2019. We accept proposals in a variety of formats, including symposia, individual poster presentations, skill building sessions, and conversation hours.
We accept submissions across all content areas within Division 14, and encourage submissions from researchers as well as practitioners. Interdisciplinary submissions and submissions related to the future of Applied Psychology and the changing nature of work are particularly encouraged.
